Do the tattoo's scabs fall off by themselves?

I got my 1st tattoo of the Virgin Mary on my left arm last Saturday and it's now all scabby. I do my best to take care of it. I put lotion on it that way it stays moist. I don't go into the sun alot and if I do, I stay in the shade. I don't like to hold my hand in certain positions because it feels like my tattoo will brake up the scabs and mess up the tattoo. Also, I'm 16 and our school doesn't allow tattoos to show so is it okay for me to were a jacket with fuzz on the inside over it?

Yeah, they come off on there own. A jacket should be fine to cover up.

I use Rocco's Old School Tattoo Balm on all of my old and new tattoo's.

It works great. Heals my new tattoo's nicely, keeps them moisturized and protected.

And still lets air pass through unlike Vaseline. Also makes my old tattoo's look new

Yep. Tattoos are supposed to scab and you should allow the scabs to fall off by themselves. Never pick them because you run the risk of pulling out the ink. As for the jacket, I wouldn't wear it because the fuzz could catch on the scabs and pull them. I would either cover it with saran wrap while wearing the jacket, or with long sleeves.
