For as long as I can remember, I have been prescribed ADHD medications for almost my school experience dating all the way back to kindergarten. I am now a senior in high school and I will be graduating next June, which means there is pretty much no reason to continue my medication, but I've been with it for so long I don't think I will be able to go without it. 2 years ago I was prescribed vyvanse for my ADHD, but I think it's been the reason I been getting into alot of trouble. 9 months ago was when I really started abusing my medication, at the time I was so stressed and depressed from and lot of family/personal/social problems. The bottle says to to take once at 7am Mon-Fri but I was taking it 2 twice a day everyday and I was a very heavy smoker at the same time and I would smoke weed with it. I just couldn't stop! I loved the way it made me feel free from al my problems and at how much smarter, confident, and beautiful it mad me feel. Ive even lied to a doctor once to get a refill on it. But everytime I try to stop cold turkey on everything or slow down, I would feel horrible and the craving would only get stronger and coming for a nonfunctional family like mine, the cravings were just to much. Im scared though because I can't stop taking them, and when I take them, I abuse them. I've gotten into trouble with the police numerous times because of stupid stuff I've down while under the influence of various drugs and I think it's starting to affect my breathing and heart beats, also it's starting to make my skin real pale and I feel sick when it wears off. What should I do?

So I'm 17, I'm gay, n my boyfriend is 18. We haven't done anything and my mom says she'll press charges just because she doesn't accept him or me. Also since im 17 and can legally move out in the state of texas, could she do anything to bring me back? I really just need to get away from here.

I'm only 17 and I'm getting scared that I have esophageal cancer because I have theses wired looking small white lumps starting to form in the upper throat and I don't know if I've never just noticed them or if it's a result from smoking, and also its getting harder to clear my throat. I've been a heavy smoker for almost 2 years, smoking almost a pack in a day I really really wanna get off of this habit.

I've tried quoting before many times n the longest I lasted was a day.

What are your opinions, please I just really don't want this habit to be with me forever but I really didn't believe would be so hard.

Lately, my life has just seem to be going downhill, and everyday I feel it's reaching a new low. Im just not happy anymore, I can't really describe the feeling but it's like I feel like I'm trapped, in my town, in my house, like my life is damned for disappointing and hurting my family and loved ones.

Things have just been going for bad to worse with me, my parents wanna send me away because of my mouth and because they've caught me many times using W33D.

I feel like I'm losing my faith in God, I used to have a close personal connection with God, but now I can't seem to bring myself to fully believe in him anymore.

Another thing is that I'm so scared I'ma end up in either jail or prison within the next year or two. I'm really scared.

I've gotta suspended for:

-fights in school

-leaving school property without permission, -skipping class

-arguing with the teachers

I used to love school and looked forward to getting out of bed to go everyday, but now I just sit or sleep in all my classes because I just really don't like my teachers or any of my classmates. I could care less about my grades these day, I don't even wanna go to college, or the army like I wanted to.

Next year, I'm scheduled to graduate but I don't even feel like finishing, I just don't feel like school is my thing anymore.

My current dream is to graduate and drive as far away from my family and hometown and just seclude myself from reality,

I'm not happy, I'm sick of literally everything and everyone. Yes, I'm nice to everyone but that doesn't mean I like them, I'm sick of being constantly around my family and being stuck at home and doing the same exact things everyday repeatedly.

Please, if you understand what I'm feeling then please tell me what to do or send me some inspiration or anything, tell ima be alright. I want so bad to be happy again.

Hi. Last October, my dad got a pitbull from a cousin of mine and it was only about 6 weeks old at the time and when he first got him, he would play with him and and let him run around in the yard, but now the dog (his name is Buddy but i call him Bud) is almost a year old and now he does absolutely nothing with him. I hate this so much because my dog is just tide up on the leach in the backyard every single day and has no one to play with him and when I look out the window, I wanna cry cuz he just lays out there under a tree because he's so neglected now.

My dad does this ALL THE TIME whenever we get a new pet and it makes me sick cuz he treats them like toys, he plays with them for so long and when he gets bored of them, he NEVER interacts with them what so ever.

I used to play with him and walk him everyday because my dad wouldnt do it, but I haunt been doing it fir a while now cuz I don't have the time anymore with me working and constantly running airens for my parents, but I still try to make him feel loved as much as I can.

I can't trust my brother and sister (who do not have jobs) to even spend at least 10 or 20 mins out of the day with with are dog because they are just to lazy. They complain eveytime when I ask them to go and get the dog food and water so I can't trust them to play with him

What should I do, I wanna just give him to someone who I know will actually love him and play with him but my dad won't let us cuz he claims it's his dog, even though I'm the only one who actually takes care of him. He's so playful and loves everyone he meets even though he looks rough and mean on the outside.

Okay, I'm 16 and my dad is 40. Everynight, my dad hangs out in the garage with my neighbors and they get drunks and smoke cigarettes all night. Well, after around 12, I fell usleep, and I sleep nude. And usually, my dad sleeps nude in his room too but every night, he gets up to go to the restroom and last might, he must of been half way asleep because he got up, used my restroom and I felt him getting into bed with me naked. GROSS, and not only that, but he was spooning me, or he tried to at least. I'm so grossed out. I had to wake up my mom to get him out of my room because he wouldn't wake up.

What do I do? I mean it's hard to even be around him. WE WERE BOTH NAKED!!! This is just embarrassing.

Ok, so I'm 16, almost 17, and ive never really had a real relationship. I've never really had a really kiss besides one on the cheek. Im a boy and I'm bi but I'm too scared of being in a relationship with anyone, I dint know why but I'm so comfortable being alone, but when I see how everyone is with there boyfriends and girlfriends, I can't help but want that too. I've really been wanting to date a boy but there's not anyone where I live who's gay or boy.

I know I do. I can't stand when people act like this generation is stupid, lazy and have no morals. Oh it pisses me off when people get an attitude whenever I say I used to watch Saturday morning cartoons. My generation still watched cartoons on saturday mornings weather you believe it or not.

I can't stand when people say that my generation was $hitty in every catergorie, music, movies, tv, fashion, and then act like theirs was better, (you can have your own opinion but dont try to act like yours is the only one that matters). Yes twilight sucks and the original Halloween was better but Harry Potter, I would so choose over all of them.

Also, what the hell is up with adults being such hypacrites. People say that kids don't go outside anymore (and when they say kids, they really mean teenagers). I mean when they were teens, i know they werent worried about playing outside. I mean like they act like they can be the only ones to have an opinion. Nope, sorry, you can't stop me from having my own opinions.

Another thing, I don't care if you hate my generation (I cam understand nostalgia and they type of stuff) but I can't stand when people try to compare it to my generation try to say that music, tv, movies ect. was better back then and today sucks. (For those who hate it so much and my generation, just wanna point out, it's your generations who supposedly made my generations "$hitty" music and our "$hitty" tv shows and movies. We were just kids and grew up with the stuff y'all made.

I dont care about the economy crisis because every decade had some sort of crisis at some time (and it didn't really affect me because I was just a kid when it went on).

Stop complaining and give it a rest cuz grown ups said the same things about yalls generations when y'all were growing up.

I started taking the TEXAS home course I believe back in march of 2010 (started when i was 15, already 16) and I'm about to be finished with it but I don't know if I'm still eligible to take the test because I've had it for almost a year. Okay, so first off, I'm 16 and I grew up with the 90s, 00s, and currently the 10s generations and I just wanna know why adults have let kids grow up to be the way they are today? I mean, I know not all adults and not all kids but a good majority. I've literally studied this topic try to make up my own theories, and from what I've come up with is that kids really seem to think they are grown up.

I wanna know why grown ups complain about how kids are turning out the way they do. To be fair, it's not entirely their faults. I mean like girls who are 12, dressing up like they justed turned 21 and are bout to go stand on the side of a street corner. First off, if you don't want girls to dress like that, why the hell do people make it look like it's cool in the 1st place. I'm saying like if you want young girls to ACT like young girls, why can't you set a good example instead of just talking the talk, walk the walk.

Also, why are people so afraid to whoop their child? That's the main reason children are so out of hand. Taking away their phone and iPod and no punishment, this is the age of electronics. Kids are going to have some sort of electronic device stashed away. I mean how come somewhere along the line, parents just stopped spanking their child. Are you crazy? That's the worst disision you can ever make. To make sure you child doesn't do anything stupid, they should fear you more than they fear the law that way they DON'T wanna be in trouble.

For example, my 14 year old sister screams, shuts, and is the most spoiled rotten brat in the state of Texas I swear. Whenever anyone tries to talk to her, or tell her somthing, she instantly starts shouting and screaming because she knows nobody will do anything. And whenever she finally gets yelled at enough or someone barley pops her, she'll cry her eyes out and it pisses me off. But everyday, she runs over my parents like nothing, they even give us her chores because they just don't want to bother argueing with her.

Now, unless you want your child to end up like what I just described, I suggest you consider that a warning and do something to make sure you child doesn't up up like that because once they do, you're pretty much ******.

(Note: I really don't care if you leave responses saying that blah blah blah I'm too you blah blah blah I don't know what I'm talking about blah blah blah all that bull. Just because I'm 16 doesn't mean I'm not mature, nor does it mean I'm trying to act grown. I know fully well what I'm talking about. I know how my genration works, all I want is for ADULTS to act like ADULT and DO WHAT THEY NEED TO DO to keep kids in line.)

I am so confused with my region. I am a catholic and I have always believed in god and everything that has to do with Christianity, but lately I've been questioning it and I feel I'm wrong for doing that. I'm not saying god isn't real but I just don't really understand. It drives me crazy because I'm sitting here forcing myself to believe. It goes against everything I believe what I was raised with but it all doesn't seem to make sense in some ways. Please. I don't know what to do.

I got my 1st tattoo of the Virgin Mary on my left arm last Saturday and it's now all scabby. I do my best to take care of it. I put lotion on it that way it stays moist. I don't go into the sun alot and if I do, I stay in the shade. I don't like to hold my hand in certain positions because it feels like my tattoo will brake up the scabs and mess up the tattoo. Also, I'm 16 and our school doesn't allow tattoos to show so is it okay for me to were a jacket with fuzz on the inside over it?

Please be detailed. I never really trae, been to Orlando a few times, so I wanna know what it's like in other places from people opinions. I live in Southeast Texas, Love it, wouldn't wanna be anywhere else.

I don't hate my skin color but sense I'm black and Mexican, I had a great light/dark brown caramel tan, but since it's been really hot, I've beenb getting really tanner. It doesn't look bad but I don't like it. Do they fade? If so, how long does it take and what do I do?

I live in Texas. I really love it here, but I wanna know how it's different from my homestate.

(FACTS ABOUT TEXAS)

• It's extremley hot in the summers (epecially where I live in the Southeast region).

• The people are so friendly here and we are very prideful about our state.

• We only have 2 seasons patterns l. Cold and hot. Winters are freezing but it still feels great outside.

• We have mountains in the east, flat plains in the panhandle, rolling hills in the central/hill county region, ocean views in the coast, and pinney forest in the east.

• Not to brag but you gotta try our Texas bar-b-q. It's a real mouth-watering experiance.

• We have the biggest rodeo in the world every year. (Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo).

•Our state dish is chili.

• Mexican Food is called Tex-Mex.

• We not a partly state, we mostly like to stay at home and sit out side, have a beer and enjoy nature with the family. (I live on private land that my family owns so all my aunts, uncles and cousins live beside me. It's great to be with the family all the time.)

I live in southeast Texas and I've only been to Orlando, Florida 10 or 11 times and I always go to the same place. Disney World, (I'm actually going back again in a week) but I love my simple life as a small town boy but what's it like where you live. I wanna know what makes your state a great place and how it's different from my state. I've been told by people that they could tell I was from the south because I was very well mannered and I had an accent (which I thought I talked normal) haha.

We all know there's ALOT of tension between America and Mexico. For Americans, it's illegal immigration, for mexicans, it's the land that they claim was stolen from them in over 100 years ago. Come on people. Are we really gonna fight over something that was settled between both countries so long ago? All this racial tension is getting out of hand and I want it to stop. Not all mexicans are bad and the same goes for Americans. I know this is corny but why can't we just let the past die off and work for a better future? I want my kids to grow up and male friends with Mexican people and not think they're bad because of the stuff he sees on tv. Mexico has so much beauty in it and nobody wants to point it out. America has a great culture too. I've seen things that say nade by Mexican people that say Mexico will take back it's lost land or things that Mexicans will take over America, but what will that do. It's just gonna piss everyone off and eventually a war. We all come from the same places. Mexico was from Spain which is in Europe, and America comes from France and Britain. Stop the fighting. Do you really want your kids to hate a group of people just because of past experiances. Americans are hard working people and the same goes for Mexico. Yes, Mexico is having a rough time with the drug war but if you give us enough time to help our own economy then we would be more than happy to help Mexico. Let's work for a better future.

Americans are mainly angry because they see it as immigrants stealing their jobs and I understand that. Our economy is bad so we need every job we can get and it looks like the goverment is letting people in to help their economy. I can understand why your angry but take a look at how Americans are dealing with it. Everyone seems to be coming to Texas for a better chance at finding a job. I'm a texan and I was a bit angry myself when I first heard about that but compare it to how illegals come to America for a better life because of the way Mexico is. Also, Americans are angry because they feel they aren't being trended to as much as immigrants because they feel their tax dollars are paying for them. I understand it.

Mexicans are angry because they still believe that this is still their land and they want it back. First off, the reason Mexican come here is because they want a better life, it mainly the young people who say that Mexico will take back Aztlán (the Spanish word the American southwest). We can't change the past people. Sorry that's how worked out but if you really do want a better life, you can't just run to another country nor can you rely completely on other countries to do everything. You have to do it legally. If you want to be an American, do the legal thing that way you can hold your head high and be proud to really call yourself an American. America would be more than happy to help Mexico anyway they can.

Come on people, what do you think? Would you rather go to war to fix a problem that can be solved if we just took the time to all work at it. I'm Mexican myself but I want a better future and not for things to be the way they are now. Don't let anger get the best of us. Remember, we all have the same god and if we work for a better future than we can all have an even better eternity in heven.
