Do I have a serious drug problem?
For as long as I can remember, I have been prescribed ADHD medications for almost my school experience dating all the way back to kindergarten. I am now a senior in high school and I will be graduating next June, which means there is pretty much no reason to continue my medication, but I've been with it for so long I don't think I will be able to go without it. 2 years ago I was prescribed vyvanse for my ADHD, but I think it's been the reason I been getting into alot of trouble. 9 months ago was when I really started abusing my medication, at the time I was so stressed and depressed from and lot of family/personal/social problems. The bottle says to to take once at 7am Mon-Fri but I was taking it 2 twice a day everyday and I was a very heavy smoker at the same time and I would smoke weed with it. I just couldn't stop! I loved the way it made me feel free from al my problems and at how much smarter, confident, and beautiful it mad me feel. Ive even lied to a doctor once to get a refill on it. But everytime I try to stop cold turkey on everything or slow down, I would feel horrible and the craving would only get stronger and coming for a nonfunctional family like mine, the cravings were just to much. Im scared though because I can't stop taking them, and when I take them, I abuse them. I've gotten into trouble with the police numerous times because of stupid stuff I've down while under the influence of various drugs and I think it's starting to affect my breathing and heart beats, also it's starting to make my skin real pale and I feel sick when it wears off. What should I do?

If you want to handle this secretly on your own, cut down. Start taking 1&1/2 pills every day for a week/month (depending on how big your problem is). Then, start taking 1 pill, then half a pill, quarter pill, next thing you know, you don't even need it because you've been teaching your body to control its requirements. Your body will adapt to your pill decreasage.

Get off your amphetamines. Sure they are good, but it can have more negative effects long term. weed though could be okay for you, it's more of God's naturally created herb, and spiritually speaking, because it's not altered like amphetamines. I took adderall/vyvanse for a while, then (along with other drugs) started injecting the adderall and vyvanse. People told me you can't inject those amphetamines, but actually you can, and the effects are x3 than just popping the pills. Don't let this be the eventual route for you, as it's not good long term. just stick to the natural remedies and think of your body as a temple for God and that he wants you to be healthy and clean.

I think that's proof that perscribed drugs can be dangerous as well as street drugs. But yes, your craving it, that means you have a drug problem. Please tell your doctor. They won't judge you or get you in trouble. They can help you get off the drug. Also, don't mix weed with perscribed drugs. It can give you worse problems than you already had.
Good luck !

I think you realize you have an issue. I would suggest you tell your doctor about all this, he can probably help a lot. You also have to want to change, though, and try to work on contolling yourself WITHOUT the medication.
