How do I mount a .bin file under Windows 7?

I've downloaded a game that's divided up between two .bin files. These are disk images, right? So how do I mount them? I tried downloading the free version of Alcohol, but I'm clueless as to how to use this to mount the .bin files. Heck, I don't even know if that's what Alcohol does. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to Windows.

I'm assuming that .bin is, in fact a disk image format? Or is this some type of compression format, and I need to "unzip" these files?

Thanks.
