IS there a free online phone directory?
I found the best ever online directory to find anyone anywhere in the United States once but did not bookmark it (I regret it!) and need to find a phone number of a friend in another city.
I KNOW my old friend has a phone number but the fraudulent, lying, money worshiping, dollars hungry sites that claim to look for phone numbers free says "We tried, we really really did." when all the time they did not look/or they have system in place that is totally worthless!
Any of you folks out there know of one that will really be honest?
Zaba doesn't work too well it is so outdated it only works if you're looking for dinosaurs phone numbers who lived in 3000 BC or for Socrates or Platos' addresses and phone numbers. (lol)

Get a No Cost Phone Number Scan at https://bitly.im/aL8rM
Its a good way to start. The place lets you to do a no cost phone scan simply to find out if any telephone data is there. This basic alalysis is done without cost. For a full detailed report its a modest payment.
Here's Reverse / Whose Number Lookup page. If you're talking about cell phones, you usually have to pay for that. I've had pretty good luck just using Google a phone number to find out who's calling. If you are researching a quantity of numbers, though, I suppose, you might want a service. I can't imagine why the average person would need to research a quantity of numbers, though, so I assume this is business-related, and it then seems only fair that you pay for a service. But maybe it's not.

The absolutely free reverse phone lookup sites generally provide the most basic of information such as name and it works only for landlines. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge and they only want your email to send spam.
Stay away from shady reverse phone lookup sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse phone lookup site like http://www.phonedetective.info/ that has been around since 1999.
If I recall correctly they have two options:
1. $19 and you get only one report.
2. $39 and you get unlimited reports. I went with this option because I wanted to verify more numbers. This is how I caught my girlfriend cheating, I got the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and criminal-court records.

In the event that they have extra subtle elements you will need to pay for the report. If you need to reverse lookup one phone or area line telephone number you will be charged about $15 yet in the event that you have to reverse lookup more than one telephone or cell number you can get a years access to their database. Yeah. Just google "people search" or "free white pages".
But be careful even in these 2 sites, if you click on "refined searches" or "extend your search" you get taken to pay sites.
