Where can one get a real owl?
I'm not looking for a live one, but one that has been stuffed by a taxidermist.
5 AnswersHobbies & Crafts9 years agoWhat scriptures do you struggle with?
What scriptures are difficult for you to understand, or perhaps don't seem to fit in with your understanding of the Bible (or maybe your understand of who God is)? Whatever the reason, what scriptures do you struggle with and why?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhat other doctrines exist besides the Trinity (within Christiandom)?
I know that there are many Christian groups that don't believe in the Trinity, but exactly what doctrinal position DO they hold when it comes to the the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is the least common word in the English language?
We all know that "the" is the most common word in the English language, but what is the LEAST common? How would you even go about figuring it out?
4 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoHow do you rekindle passion for God in a heart that has grown cold?
I am reminded of the verse that says, "I believe, help me with my unbelief."
I WANT to believe in God. At some level I still do. But I have lost all passion, all zeal, and doubts have gnawed away at my faith and have become serious doubts. How do I stop this downward cycle and reclaim the passion for God that I once had?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat exactly is Rock Salt, and is it safe to eat?
Okay, I know that rock salt is usually used for melting ice and snow, and used in home ice cream makers. But what makes rock salt different from table salt (other than size and shape)? Is it safe to eat? I certainly don't see any warning labels on the box indicating that it is dangerous, but I find it interesting that I've never heard of it being used in some recipe before. After all, many recipes call for sea salt, or other alternatives to table salt, why not rock salt?

6 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoWhen is Spam acceptable, when is it an unacceptable nuisance, and when is it a crime?
Yesterday Robert Alan Soloway, one of the world's top 10 spammers, was arrested. His actions were clearly illegal, using viruses to create zombie computers that would send e-mail after e-mail out. His charges also seem to include identity theft.
But is all spam a crime? Is all spam even bad? Spam is essentially just junk mail, right? While I throw away most of the junk mail the post office delivers to me, every now and then I use some pizza coupons, or learn of a new business in my area that I decide to check out. There is nothing wrong with advertising through the mail. You cannot, however, send unsolicited pornography through the mail. To me it makes sense that a business that produces videos for web pages, for example, should be able to seek out companies they perceive as potential clients and send them an e-mail explaining their services. I don't even mind THAT much the occasion "Lower your interest rate."
So my question is simply this: Where should the lines be drawn?

I DID receive something at their 1 year anniversary based on my level, was that what they are talking about? I got the impression that you should receive something every time you gain a level.

Doesn't it make sense to go from Off to Low, then Medium, and then High? Why start with High? Is there a reason or story behind this?
3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWhat is your opinion of the next NASA spacecraft?
Is it just me, or does it seem like a step backward? A capsule spaceship means much more money per launch, as none of the spacecraft will be reusable, and we will completely loose the ability to retreave satelites from space. If major repairs need to be made to the space station, that will be next to impossible, as well. Am I the only one who thinks this is not the best direction?

6 AnswersNon-Alcoholic Drinks1 decade agoIf I purchase a clip art image do I have the right to use that image as my company logo for an LLC?
When you purchase a clip art image you are essentially purchasing the right to use that image, right? Is that use limited? Is using it as a logo in some way claiming it as your own? Or is it okay as long as you don't try to trademark the image? This is for a small LLC with about 3 employees, if we grew we would probably pay someone to create a new logo.
5 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoAnyone know what game this is? (PC DOS game)?
I am trying to remember a computer game. It was DOS based, and played very much like Master of Orion. However, many of the races were based more on sci-fi shows or movies. I don't know if they had the same names or not, but the graphics made it clear who each race was. I specifically remember the Gorn from Star Trek and the Empire from Star Wars. One of the particulars of the game I remember is that your ships could run out of fuel in the middle of nowhere if you weren't careful, and so there were tanker ships. If anyone knows where you can download it, or purchase it, that would also be great. Thank you for your help!

I was looking into starting a money market account at Zions Bank, because their rates are so good. However, since I don't live in Salt Lake City, I would like some confirmation of who they are before just sending money over the internet.

3 AnswersYahoo Profiles2 decades agoWhatever happened to Freedom of Speech?
Freedom of Speech used to be the freedom to express your ideas, including those that disagreed with the government, in an appropriate time and manner. How did it become the right to tape and show pornography, the right to use profanity on television, the right to run around naked, or the right to burn the American Flag (the last being the most reasonable)? What happened?
