Turtle Beach PX21 Headset Circuit Board?

Can anyone tell me how the wires are connected from the headset to the PCB in the turtle beach PX21? My son's has come apart and I'd like to solder it back together but can't find anywhere that shows which wires connect to which soldering points. A couple of the wires are colored but some are just copper, so please be as descriptive as possible.

Thanks!

Hey Joe - great that you have the ability to do so. However, I would recommend you leave the in-line amplifier alone as it will void your one year manufacturers warranty. If you send an email to support@turtlebeach.com with all your info, they will give you an RMA and swap the product out for a new one. Nice and easy!

For the people like me who had loose connections in the control box wires which connect to the headset, the following are the PCB connections and colours:

    Control: Colour: Headset:

    R Red R

    L Blue L

    GRN Bronze SPGND

    M- White(Bronze inside) GRN

    M+ Black(Bronze inside) MIC

I suggest changing all the wires (I used rainbow cable), as the turtle beach wire is hard to solder (Its like cotton...) and gives a weak connection.

I know the feel, there are no resources for this...

Find the datasheet for the chipset and find what wires go to what, if the board isn't labeled.
