    1000000 = (4800)2^t

    taking log to the base 10 on both sides,

    log10 (1000000) = log10 (4800) + log10 (2^t)

    6 = 3.681 + t*log10 (2)

    6 - 3.681 = t*0.301

    t = 2.319/0.301 = 7.704

    Divide both sides by 4800.

    1000000/4800 = 2^t

    Take the log(base 2) of both sides.

    log2(1000000/4800) = log2(2^t)

    log2(1000000) - log2(4800) = t

    log(1000000/4800)=t*log(2)

    Then solve for t.

    10000000 = (4800)2^t

    10000/48 = 2^t

    625/3 = 2^t

    taking log on both side

    log [625/3] = log 2^t

    applying log laws.

    [log 625 - log 3 ] = t log 2

    1/log2 [log 625 - log 3 ] = t
