What did the Red Sox do wit the Champange they had ready for them after losing game 6 of the 1986 World Series?

I heard that just before the game ended, champagne was already being brought out for the World Series celebration! What happened? Did they get to drink their champange after that game? What did they get to do that night?

They probably kept the same champagne bottles until 2004. Ewww...

Same problems in 2002 for the Giants or any time a series goes 7. Unless the two teams agree to just buy one allotment of champagne (and Canada Dry for Josh Hamilton), there is always a supply that is given away.

I think they gave it to the Yankees to get drunk off of and wallow in misery after they lose the ALCS 2010 to the Texas Rangers.

They gave it to the Mets they just switched club houses.

It took you ONLY 24 years to think(?) of this asinine question. You're right on top of baseball happenings,
