Which has a bigger cult following? The McRib from McDonalds or Surge soda?

I'd drive many miles for a McLaks or a Laksewrap. However, McDonald's America seems to HATE me as they refuse to carry them here. MEANIES!!!

Luckily, there's a McD's right in the Tromso airport, so I binge for a good hour after I land when I go for home visit. I'm the only person on the planet who comes back from a Nordic country a good 5 or more Kg heavier than when they left.

I've never had a McRib, but I'd go for that before I'd go for the citrusy soda. Just so I could loudly proclaim my homemade ribs to be MUCH better and from a REAL dead pig, not a ground up then pressed into odd shapes dead pig.

I think the McRib has the bigger cult following. I remember Surge well and always thought it was kind of like a knock off Mountain Dew. The McRib has been around a lot longer, so it has people of all ages trying to hunt it down. Plus, you are more likely to find a McRib on your hunt, so that keeps people coming back for more. It's like Christmas for those obsessed people who walk in to find that McDonalds sells them. For Surge, you have to go to Norway or try your luck on Ebay. So, McRib for my answer.

I've never heard of surge soda, and i dont think i've tried the mcrib, but I heard that on the radio too. Like people are having cross country tours just to track down restaurants with McRibs. That is totally crazy.

Given that I've never even heard of Surge soda, I'm going to say McRib.

McRib definitely! By rarely releasing them for sale, people build up a craving for them that normally can not be satisfied. It is a great marketing ploy and an even better sandwich!
