How long does ice last for?
I have had some ice in my fridge for a few months - in the freezer. Would it be ok to use, entertaining a few guests later, or should I quickly destroy it and start with fresh water - how many hours for it to become ice again?

To answer your actual question, ice doesnt go bad but it can pick up "freezer flavors." Some foods can emit odors if they are left uncovered in the freezer. These odors can seep into your ice and add an unpleasant flavors.
