Why do people argue if Harry Potter or Twilight is better?

I've said it once and I'll say it again...

Every time somebody compares Twilight to Harry Potter, God kills a Weasley.

I agree that Twilight vs Buffy is more logical but I think they're compared because they are both phenomenons. By the way Harry Potter is so much better.

because their both:

big bestseller books

big blockbuster movie

both has a female author

both a series

both is mostly about 2 boys and a girl

both are fantasies

both have the last book split into 2 parts

but it's mostly a vampire vs wizard battle

Stephanie Myers did it on purpose so people would compare her book to Harry Potter and it would get publicity.

Beacuse both are big selling book series that have been made into movies.

BECAUSE they are REALLY stupid and Harry Potter sucks and Twilight sucks like 3x more but they both are really gay
