Do women not wear lipstick anymore? Is it okay for the over 30 crowd?

Maybe most women prefer nude color lips which is the trend now so you thought they have no lipstick on.

Many women are wearing neutral or natural colors, and many are wearing very dark naturals. but you should wear whatever looks right on YOU! If you like bright colors, you are certainly not alone! If you go to a cosmetic counter in a large store, you will find plenty of everything (except perhaps less in pink). And if you go to someone 'high end' like Clinique or Charles of the Ritz and get a "free with purchase" goodie bag, you will almost always get a lovely lipstick, and will generally find it to be a dark plum or dark cinnamon. You can also flip through almost any current fashion magazine and see lots of the models wearing lipstick -- many very, very bright. So, wear what YOU like!

I am a 17 year old girl and I always wear lipstick. I'm in high school, too. I'm pretty much the only one to wear it. But I love it.

I am 44 and wear lipstick all the time. I feel like my lips need some color, especially when I'm wearing some eye makeup. I would definitely wear it out to dinner and I always wear it to work. Do what works for you, not what you see others doing...that's how we rise above certain ridiculous trends.

We'll i'm 16 and embarrassed to say I love lipstick. Its so beautiful and classy. See, I just like pigment, I hate gloss, it looks like spit all over ones lips. I just go for not too extreme of lipstick colours.

Keep in mind though that my lips are already extremely dark, so it doesn't make too much of a difference.

But perhaps its not good to wear lipstick because overtime your ingesting lead. You really have to be careful of what in your lipstick, its horrible. Chapstick is the best ; )

My mom is in "the over 30 crowd" and she always wears lipstick. But me, 13, i only wear lip gloss or chapstick, NOT lipstick

I think more people wear lipgloss or no lip makeup at all. However some women do wear it, especially older people. The reasons I personally don't wear it is that I don't like it when my hair sticks to it and I'm not confident enough to wear it.

That's true, I don't really see anybody wearing it anymore, most girls my age use foundation on their lips, I don't know why, I think lipgloss and lipbalm are used more nowadays but if you wanna wear it then go ahead, it isn't banned and it can look really nice on some people
