what happend to the jewish in 18th century?

    I think you meant e. "assimilated into French society"

    Actually, all of these were true. The Jewish PEOPLE experienced all these things, in different parts of the world, during the 18th century.

    PS "Jewish" is an adjective, not a noun. You can say "the Jewish people" or "the Jews"; either is correct.
