Which of disney world's haunted mansion story is right?
Okay so i know two stories for disney world's haunted mansion. The original story about master Greasy hanging himself because his bride was poisoned. The other one is master Greasy bride killed him by cutting his head off. The part where see master Greasy hang is still in disney world's haunted mansion but in the attic they show pictures of master Greasy head being cut off by the bride. Which one is it? It makes no sense. help me!

Hello Snow cub:
On a personal note: The Haunted Mansion is one of my two most favorite rides at both Disneyland (Magic Kingdom) and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, Florida. That said...
The storyline can be confusing because the storyline itself has evolved over the 40 years that the original Haunted Mansion in Disneyland has existed, followed by the Haunted Mansion in Florida. You have to understand that the Bride in the attic has been updated/refurbished a few times over the years, and with the refurbishment the storyline has been (unofficially) "rebooted" as well.
"Reboot"--in case you don't know--is what often happens when moviemakers make a new movie in a popular franchise (i.e. "The Punisher" and "Star Trek") and either throw-out the previous storyline or otherwise go way out into left field.
As the ride has evolved over the years, so has the tale(s) of Master Yale GRACEY and the Bride in the Attic.
Before movie of the same name came out, there have been numerous tales and myths re: Master Gracey and the Bride. A good source is Doombuggies.com (a.k.a. "The Haunted Mansion Website")--a website totally deicated to the Haunted Mansion.

And speaking of the (Eddie Murphy) movie... although the movie is based on the Haunted Mansion attraction (just like the Pirates of the Carribean movie was based on the original PotC attraction); the storyline is totally separate from the attraction--so (to answer your question here) "neither" story is right, as applied to the Disneyland and Disney World dark rides.
Not that I want to add to the confusion--but one of the original storylines for the Bride was that she was a jilted/forlorn bride. The whole "axe"/"bloody bride" thing was added recently. The Bride wasn't always so bloody.
As for Master Gracey's "there's always my way" and hanging from the rafters in the Stretching Room... How and why he hanged himself has always been largely left up to speculation.
That's part of the mystique of the Haunted Mansion... a lot is left to speculation.
Hope this helps a little...
Edit: I have/own "The Haunted Mansion from the Magic Kingdom to the Movies" by Jason Surrell too... Good book on the HM!

Its really confusing i know!!! Well its kind of a mix of both, Disney World and Disneyland are the same story. Actually both of the stories you named are not the ones. The movie is totally different then any of the rides. Actually Disneyland and Disney World (and tokyo disneyland) dont really have that much of a story. Pretty much the story is that you go in the house full of happy haunts and they each have their own personality, the bride in the attic was recently added and shes a bride that her husband left her and she still waiting for him to come back. The hanging guy was not originally called master gracey his named had been changed after the movie. Each seen in the ride is just about what the ghosts do in the mansion and then you get to go see the graveyard!!! There is a book on the haunted mansion's that was written by an imagineer, this is where i got the information its really good. Its called The Haunted Mansion from the Magic Kingdom to the Movies. The Disneyland Paris one has a really interesting story. But really thats the only one that has a story. The movie is a totally different story the only similarity is that they both have madam leotta!!! Hope this helps!!!
