    It Sound like fish TB

    FISH TUBERCULOSIS (CURVED SPINE)

Symptoms: Curved or Crooked Spine Skeletal deformity.

    Lesions on the body.

    loss of scales.

    Loss of appetite.

    Body wasting Progressive thinness.

    Dis-coloration.

    Sluggish movement

    Folded fins

    Eye protrusion

Dark coloration and granular appearance of the cornea.

    Hanging at the surface

Skin defects, including blood spots and open wounds that may ulcerate

Black spots, or overall dark coloration (in Cichlids particularly).

The kindest thing to do is humanely euthanise the fish, as it will be in pain and there is no cure

What used to be the final factor you further for your tank ? Was it out of the wild ? A foot lengthy Angel is massive. An grownup angel in a tank reaches approximately forty to 50 cm. I simply learn that a couple of mins in the past.... How used to be the angel ? Check Ammonia phases.

A lot of fish get that way if they get really old. Say for instance a guppy 2-3 years old will show that problem.

Source(s): 61 years breeding and raising freshwater tropical fish.

Sounds like a problem! He may be experiencing bone weakness/loss; as in he is dying and he just cant maintain homeostasis in his body. If you really wanted to you could buy another fish and try breeding them, like raise his children and carry on the Nibbles generation. But i'm not sure if he would be able to do that. try putting extra nutrient supplements in his food.

Honestly though, i think its his time. If he stops eating and starts losing scales, please put him out of his misery. Good luck, Best Regards.

    He must be pretty old.

He may be dying of old age ( ect. his spine broke ,,,)

    its a matter of time.

You seem to be able to take care of a fish , I'd recommend to get a new one ;O

    Im sorry :[
