My friend is a high school dropout, where can he earn his GED?
I finally convinced my friend to pursue a higher education and his first step is earning a GED. Except there is one problem, I don't actually know how he can do that. How can he do that?
He is leaning away from online school and leaning towards learning in a class room.

I would start here: http://www.technical-schools-guide.com/ged-schools... This site lists a ton of schools that are not online but offer GED programs to their students. What a great friend you are encouraging him to go back for an education. This site will give you free information on the schools you are interested in.
Good luck to him!

He can do GED prep classes via the adult ed program in your town, or via the local community college. The GED prep classes take maybe 10 weeks, and are very, very cheap - perhaps $25 for the entire series, even sometimes free. The GED exam itself does cost some money, though.

Some Community Colleges have, in the past, offered 'make up' or alternate or GED 'equivalency' courses which often lead into (if a student does well) an almost automatic entry into other courses at the same college.
