Is the midwest storm today (10/26/10) as bad as people are saying?

We are in Michigan and they are saying it's the storm of the century. Anyone in a nearby state right now that can verify how bad the storm is? Might be time to head to the basement...

    I'm in eastern mid-Michigan and while it is windy and gloomy it isn't terrible.

    Oddly, it is warm (for this type of weather) so with the pancake nature of out topography we're all on alert hoping that we don't get any touchdowns. I wouldn't be surprised if it rains 3-5" and makes a lot of noise and that's all we get over here.

    I live in east TN. Were expected to get it in the next hour. Apparently it's gonna be BAD. So far it's just sprinkled a little.
