Can't send emails from my Yahoo mail, Please help!?
Hi. This is the third day I am unable to send emails from my Yahoo account. (I can still receive new emails.) I NEVER send emails to multiple recipients or spam!! ever!! I also checked my sent folder, change my password.. and it doesn't look like my account has been tampered with. I have contacted Yahoo customer care for help but they haven't respond. If you had the same error and know how to fix it, please help. Thanks
This message will pop up every time I tried to send email:
"Your account has been temporarily blocked from sending messages. This block can be caused by sending messages that trigger our spam filters, or by having too many recipients in one email. We encourage you to review the contents and recipient list of your message, and try sending it at after an hour or two. Doing so will usually resolve the matter.
If you are still unable to send messages after a 24-hour period, please read our FAQ for more information and to request Customer Care assistance."

i have been having very similar problems all week with sending emails from my yahoo account. some outbound messages go fine, but in too many cases i can't send a message. Either I get prompted for captchas constantly or, like you, I get a message saying they've detected a possible issue (i.e., spam) and can't send the email and to try again in 24-hrs. in many cases, even after answering the captchas correctly, it still won't send and gives me the spam message.
At this point, I have no idea if any particular email will get sent or get blocked. My account is unusable like this.
i have sent many emails to tech support, but have not gotten any useful response. So I went to their online chat and was talking to an agent for 30 minutes or so.
The conclusion from the chat is that i have been advised to send no more than 2-4 emails per day which contain any of the following: "HTML code (code used to format websites), Links to other websites, Embedded graphics, Attachments, Forwarded messages (chain letters, jokes, etc.), High Outbound Message Volume, Sending email to multiple recipients." Since 90% of modern email fits into one or more of these buckets, this is wildly impractical.
As the message indicates, I was told that the account will clear after 2-24 hours, but this has not been the case for me. For several days running, I have had a large percentage of perfectly normal messages blocked. But then even if it does clear, the rep confirmed that the "2-4 emails per day max" rule still applies.
Based on my experience and what the rep said, it sounds like Yahoo is clamping down so hard on spammers that normal email usage has now become suspect and subject to blockage.
I'm thinking I will need to migrate to gmail or hotmail / live.

I do remember getting an email from yahoo awhile back telling me to update my web browser, but I doubt that's the issue because I have a few yahoo accounts and my very old accounts work fine, while my newest account hasn't been able to send, reply, or forward any mail for the last 12 hours or so.
I switched to the old mail view, so it's not that dumb o.s. crap that they tried to force on everyone. Still doesn't work in simple all text view.

Seems like the issue is getting worse!
Who would have ever guessed that internet goes around the world by large under sea cables, or that destroying a company or a country would be simply to cut one of them? Why didn't they use satellites?

I'm having the same problem. Last Saturday believe or not I was able to send an email w/attachment and that was the last time. I'm a contractor and transcribe so I have to email my transcripts so now I've had to copy them on a flash drive and take them personally. This is frustrating like the rest of you when you can't even delete spam either. Help!!!

Answer? I only have the same question. I can't even send an email to myself. Yahoo just keeps telling me that I need to add more text otherwise it is considered as spam. So I print out lines of text and that isn't sufficient. I then asked in my text assignment from yahoo if I should print out the whole Bible to send my email to myself and got no response there. My years on yahoo may soon be over.

I have been having problems sending email for over a week. I don't know why I am experiencing this problem. Nee help Yahoo get back with me. And I am also having problems submitting questions also.

Same problem. Cannot not delete my 235 emails. Cannot get into my emails. For about a month. What number do you. I called for help. Then some internet people said it would cost. over 300 dollars to fix this are you kidding me. I need my yahoo mail for work. Cannot not get into it all. Any answers that do not cost you anything. Frustrating.

I just uploaded windows 10 and it not only screwed up Yahoo mail (I can not reply or compose an email anymore in yahoo mail) it also does not recognise my Facebook account anymore I get an error message that says Facebook is an unsecure site! I HATE WINDOWS 8 AND NOW WINDOWS 10 Question has anyone else had these two problems once updateing to windows 10. It might have been FREE to get windows 10 but the cost is deep!

Looks to me like Yahoo wants out of the email business. I've been having problems for two weeks now. I can't communicate with my daughter!!!
I've tried using gmail, but it's foreign. I don't know how to store contacts, etc.

I have just set up a new email address for our business and need to send multiply emails which I can do from my old account yet my new account keeps telling me there has been unusual activity and the emails cannot be sent - this is holding up my business what can yahoo do about this?
