What item do you miss that you can't get any more?

A certain bra in the Vasserette line. Bras must fit the way one wants and is comfortable wearing. Not available any more.

Little Debbie cakes that were available in the mid 1960s that were taken off the market. I loved those! Nothing they have now compares to the Little Debbie cakes I ate back then. These were two round cakes in a single package, a yellow cake with a dollop of whipped cream on the center top all covered in chocolate with chopped nuts on the top.

Like keeprock I adored the Old English Spangles & also the Acid Drop variety.Always had a packet when going to Saturday Morning Pictures out of my pocket money

Sani Flush bowl cleaner. I had used it over 50 years. The company making it said not enough sales. I think it has been off of the market for 3 or 4 years. Now I have to buy something more expensive that isn't as good.

A car that I can repair myself is what I want and can't get.

Most of my life I have done all the maintenance on my own cars. Now with the new computerized plastic generation of cars my hands are tied. We have a late model Buick. The first repair was $1100 at the dealer, that didn't take, the second effort cost $997. That was a month ago. The engine service light is on again now and I have no money.

I am totally fed up with this crap. My old pickup has 180,000 miles on it and has never been in a shop. I have had a gut full of the computerized pile of Buick trash.

"Hair So New" spray on / leave on conditioner. This stuff was awesome with a capital A.

I have very long hair and pretty much always have... it snarls up rather easily because it's quite thick and it gathers around my neck while I sleep. Unless I braid it, it looks like bed-head disaster in the mornings and it takes me about 30 minutes (no kidding) to remove all the snarls. I used to spray on this Hair So New product and BAM! Instant snarl remover and softener. It smelled great too. I wrote to Clairol and they no longer make it. Drat.

Go to google.com and type in dry goods internet stores (or something like that) and you will get lots of websites. Because we cannot put brand names or store names, I cannot give you any names. BUT...look for the website that is very popular and starts with an A . I have bought from them for years and they are very trust worthy. They sell anything you can imagine. I have bought dry goods by the case from them too.

I miss some of the candies we use to get long long long ago. lol

Sherbet pips dusted in sugar poured out of a big ol' jar in to a stainless steel cradle on a set of scales, then in to a white paper bag. Not a brightly coloured, hermetically sealed plastic bag. A plain, white paper bag.

And pot noodles before some complete muppet ruined everything by deciding that they could no longer add salt to them.

And how about drinks of one kind or another in proper glass bottles instead of plastic containers...?

All the huge variety of shops. Apart from very, very expensive boutiques etc. every shopping centre or High St. in every town/city has the same stores with the same stock. I remember if you wished items like dresses, coats, jackets you could trail from shop to shop and all were different.
