Who is the better epic storyteller?

George R. R. Martin or Steven Erickson?

    I would go for Martin over Erickson. Erickson I have found very dense and hard to get involved in. And while his world-building is rich, it takes too much effort to follow all the details of it.

    However, I would go for the epic stories of Jacqueline Carey over either of them.

    I honestly don't care for either one...if I had to choose it would have to be George R. R. Martin
