The Cowboys are pretty much out of the playoff picture but they've not given up yet.

McGee is a long way from being an NFL QB. Kitna is a serviceable backup.

After another loss or two, it would make sense to give McGee some considerable time under center and maybe a couple of starts as the wasted season drags on.

That would allow the Cowboys to properly evaluate both guys and decide which to keep for a backup next season. Then they can cut the other one and draft a young gunslinger to develop as a future starting QB.

    No

Jon Kitna is a vetern more experience QB who is actually a very solid QB

It really doesnt matter who they start, both are well below average. Mcgee has looked really bad in his preseason games and Kitna has no mobility, and behind that Oline its just asking for trouble.

sure, if they want to lose all of the rest of there games. mcgee and kitna should not be in the nfl.

kitna looked pretty good when romo went out

Only if the team is closing the book on Tony Romo because that would be the message you're sending.
