Merge Multiple Programs?

I have a program that has a different file for different Operating Systems. Example. Program-vista.exe, Program-Win7.exe, Program-XP.exe and so on. I want to have all programs on a single cd / thumb drive that can be selected from a menu that pops up like a dvd menu.

You'd have to write the menu program, then burn all of them - your programs and the menu - to the CD.

Or write a program that detects which version of Windows it's running in, then launches the correct program.

This brings to mind installers and instinctively I would not give users that choice, eg put a Win7.exe on a Win98.

Rather, the installer fetches the OS version and then launches the correct file.exe.
