guitar songs for beginners?

I start acoustic guitar lessons next week. What are some songs that are easy for a beginner? I'm into quite a bit of classic rock (anything Pink Floyd especially) and I also love the hair bands like Poison, Motley Crue, Cinderella, etc.

Also, what do you think the easiest Guns N' Roses songs would be?

Thanks!

Learn how to perform the guitar from your own home with the Jamorama online course for guitar you will think it is here https://tr.im/W2tdC .

Among the intriguing and helpful offering that you will find in the Jamorama course may be the "Jam Paths ".As you feel the instructions, they provide you with page music to a tune, and then 2 audio paths to go along with the song.

The 1st sound track may have the guitar part inside it (so you are able to hear how it's designed to sound), and another music track has the tune with the guitar eliminated (so you can enjoy with your self!)

They manage the Jam Tracks in a very straightforward manner.

Jam Tracks is one of the numerous things from Jamorama that can make understanding the guitar easy actually for the newcomers (especially if you do not have a guitar instructor there to assist you once you produce mistakes).

Ok buddy, you should agree with everyone's answer here. And here is my tip. Play those songs that inspire you, that give you feelings. If you are really inspired by the melody of the song, you will be able to play that music in your mind and you will catch up that song in guitar easily. Since you are a beginner, I would like to give you some bands, basically rock type, for your level.

    1) Deep Purple

    2) Iron Maiden

    3) Paul Gilbert

    4) Scorpion

    5) ACDC

and many more you will discover as you progress....

The easiest Guns N' Roses songs would probably be "Every Rose Has its Thorn" You'll have to get used to using you open chords though. Try "Afraid" by Motley Crue. It's very repetitive.

there are many people out there who doubt that they have the ability to play guitar, so let me tell you right away: your hands aren’t too big or too small, you’re not too young or too old, and it doesn’t matter if you want to play electric or acoustic. Read here https://tr.im/xNww1

Everyone has their own challenges, but I’m confident that if you practice and put your mind to it, you can play the guitar.

He's right. Jump in the water you were never taught to swim in. You'll thank yourself later...but you need to challenge yourself!
