Which of these is the most famous tragedy in Pro Wrestling history?

In no particular order:

- The Von Erich family.

They were some of the biggest stars in Pro Wrestling History. Tragically, out of five brothers only one lived to the age of 35. The youngest brother Chris, killed himself due to jealousy of his brothers. Kerry lost his foot in a motorcycle crash. That didn't stop him from wrestling, but in the following years just like his brother Chris he killed himself too, but this time there were drugs involved. Mike suffered from a virus that almost killed him, but he was never the same so he came to a conclusion of killing himself. David was the only one who died without taking his own life. He died due to gastroenteritis.

- Bruiser Brody stabbed to death.

In 1988, Bruiser Brody was stabbed from behind in a Puerto Rico locker room by Jose Gonzales aka. Invader I. An Ambulance did not appear for 45 minutes. That delay allowed the murder weapon to be hidden. Despite several witnesses, Gonzales was found not guilty.

The Death of Andre The Giant

Andre The Giant was probably the most famous wrestler to have passed away. He died of a heart attack shortly after attending the funeral of his father. In Honor of Andre, WWE made the famous Hall of Fame and made Andre the first inductee. That my friend, I call respect.

- The Death of Eddie Guerrero

Eddie Guerrero had battled against substance abuse for a long time. It had almost costed him his life, family and career. Eddie appeared to win this battle and become World Champion. However, on the night of November 13, 2005, he was scheduled to wrestle for the Championship. He was found dead from heart failure earlier that morning.

- Chris Benoit, the ticking bomb.

Chris Benoit was considerer a caring family father. He loved his wife, job and kids. On June 25, 2007, police entered Chris Benoit's house, due to several missed appointments, leading to concers. They found the lifeless bodies of Chris Benoit, Nancy and their son Daniel. After the investigation, it was determined that Benoit had committed the murders. WWE canceled the live RAW show on June 25, to broadcast a version with a tribute to his life and career.

Chris Benoit caused his own demise with the help of a crooked doctor and vince mcmahon.

The Von Erichs were an amazingly talented family, but their dad was a tyrant to try and get his boys to be like him.

Eddie Guerrero dying was tragic, but his body just couldnt take it anymore, which is understandable if you read his book.

Owen hart was a tragedy but thats what happens when your boss cut-costs by hiring 2nd rate workers to help you.Look at it this way,Why Owen and not Sting?

    Death of Eddie Guerrero

I mean Eddie had drug problems, but it was still unexpected and shocking, I mean I could've seen him as World Champion but I guess God had other plans and God chose Eddie to die on that day.

Chris Benoit is also a close second, I don't think Benoit did murder Nancy and Daniel, I think it was somebody else and covered up for him.

I wonder why won't you list this one :

    - Owen Hart's death

When Owen Hart fell from the rafters and died almost instantly in the ring. This had to be hard not only for the fans watching, the Wrestlers in the back, but for the entire Company as a whole. If that was my brother, I'd sue Vinces a## for everything he has, but even with that as an option, nobody could ever bring Owen back to life. :(

This got me thinking....who killed more wrestlers Fritz Von Erich or Vince McMahon both pressured the wrestlers into unhealthy habits. Fritz wanted all his boys to be World Champions and Vince wanted everybody to look like Arnold Swartznigger.
