I gave my son $1 for his first baby tooth. The one next to it was ready to come out too so he yanked it out the next day, asking for another $1 lol. After that, it all depended on what was in my wallet that night. Sometimes $.50, sometimes $1. Kids are grateful for any free money so it's at you and your bank's discretion lol.

Anywhere from $1 to $5, you may also consider how many kids you have before you decide. I would recommend giving the gold dollars, or $2 bills if you can find it. It is more special when it is a kind of money that isn't really common.

a buck is the norm now, but that varies, some spoiled rich kids get $5 or a toy, but most of the people i know still stick to a dollar.

  • My dad would give me $5 and that was 15 years ago!
