Which team has recruited the best?
A lot of player movement over the offseason so who do you think has recruited the best so far.
In terms of players you could say the Bulldogs but at the end of the day I don't think they are going to improve as much as people think. Their halves are inexperienced, if Ben Roberts (who is relatively injury prone) goes down injured then they will struggle with Hokko and Keating in the halves. Hokko was bought when he was in a good patch of form, he slacked off as the year went on and I wouldn't be surprised if that was his real form.
No bias involved but I reckon the Cowboys are a team who has been really good on the market. Got rid of the likes of Webb, Kaufusi, Manuokafoa, O'Donnell, Southern and Harris. All of these guys were on decent cash (believe it or not, Harris was signed on a 3 year deal in 2008 to replace Paul Bowman, on 250k a year!) and replaced them with the likes of Johnson, Faifai Loa, Tate, Tariq Sims (NYC player of the year), G. Cooper and Winterstein.
Sharks have also recruited relatively well. But they have go no halves, and with no halves you can't do anything, no matter how good your forward pack is. They have a gun forward pack, but they have no halves to capatilize off the good forward pack and their backs are rubbish meaning they will struggle to score points once again.
You could also add the Broncos to the list, they have signed Hannant and GI and only lost Folau.

You must be so stoked the Cowboys have finally woke up. It'd weird how a team can go from having the worst backline in the comp to probably the best in the matter of months, they've recruited extremely well but it's just a shame they've had to lose O'Donnell & Mason, they would have taken the team to a whole new level.
Bulldogs have yet again had another great recruitment drive, I dont know how they're doing it but looking at their likely line-up next year I can see them winning the premiership.
Also probably being bias but I'm pretty impressed with who the Knights have brought on board for next year. They've signed literally the best young talent going around in Likiliki, O'Donnell & Beau Henry, they may be just kids now but we will be rewarded when they turn into superstars lol Costigan could also be the buy of the decade, the back end of the season there was no better forward than him so Im very excited to see if he can continue that form for us.
