It's a One Terabyte hard drive. One terabyte is 1000 gigabytes, while a gigabyte is 1000 megabytes, and megabytes are 1000 kilobytes. For comparison, the average computer has between 100 and 200 gigabytes on it's hard drive, so a terabyte hard drive has about 5 to 10 times the memory of a normal hard drive.
For scale, the average MP3 file is 4 megabytes. A terabyte can hold around 250,000 MP3 files.

This article is about the unit of information. For the fictional species, see Terabyte (insect).
A terabyte is a multiple of the unit byte for digital information. The prefix tera means 1012(12 is a superior) in the International System of Units (SI), and therefore 1 terabyte is 1000000000000bytes, or 1 trillion (short scale) bytes, or 1000 gigabytes. The unit symbol for the terabyte is TB or Tbyte.
Hope I can help you by this! Best wishes! ^ ^

1 TB is defined as 1024 GB.
However, in the world of consumer electronics, they use "metric" meanings, so in a hard disk drive.
1 TB = 1 000 000 000 000 bytes = 976 562 500 kB = 953 674 MB = 931.3 GB

A hard drive is what you would be saving your documents and music and what not to. It stores the operating system and other software the computer needs to run.
A TB (Terabyte) is pretty much 1,000GB, which are used to measure how much space the hard drive has to save to.
Hope that helped.

TB stands for terabyte. 1 terabyte is roughly equal to 1000 gigabytes (GB). That's a pretty big hard drive.
