Anyone interested in sharing fun..?

My husband and I found out I was pregnant last November, he knew right away...as he noticed the signs and told me to take the test! But we decided to wait until Christmas to tell our families (around 10 weeks). We went out and got picture frames that had a little poem that said "babies are a gift from above, something to care for and love" and at the bottom we had removable plaques engraved to say "Grandma to be 2010" and "Grandparent's to be 2010" and had each set of grandparent open them Christmas day with the whole family around. It was a great way to announce it and everyone loved it. My MIL now has the frame up with my daughters picture at day one in it.

Well my husband knew right away cause we were trying to concieve, but they way we told his family was pretty fun. We had a big family get together, we always say Grace before we eat, so everyone was gathered around the table. My husband was the one to say Grace and prayed for a healthy baby during the prayer. They all looked up at us confused. But it was fun!! We are expecting a girl in 6 weeks and her name is gonna be Grace!!

WIth my second pregnancy, I ordered a shirt online that said "big brother" and my son wore it to tell the grandparents. I wrote a birthday card to my sis because her birthday and the baby's due date are only days away. I bought a "born in 2010" onesie from Children's Place and wrapped it up to give to my husband.

on the door of the house put a sign that says follow the arrows inside. then have arrows leading the way towards the stove in the kitchen. then on the stove put a sign that says open. then place a bun on the rack in the middle. meaning bun in the oven. he'll get it lol.

I put a picture of my positive pregnancy test as my FB profile pic. My phone was ringing off the hook!

i was really excited and nervous .. our first pregnancy wasn't planned ..(a bit sooner then we were thinking) .. we were laying in bed and i told him..i had just taken the test and showed him .. he was happy.. to tell my mum we took her out to lunch and told her ..she was excited =-)
