Very Good Bank Robbery Movies?
Hey,
In the passing week, I've just watched about 4 bank robbery movies and for some strange reason I've grown a likening to the genre. So I was wondering if anyone can list me some VERY GOOD robbery movies. Here's the ones I've already watched:
1) Heat
2) 44 Minutes
3) Inside Man
4) Point Break
5) Die Hard 3 (heist, but a really good movie)
6) Italian Job (more heist then anything)
Others movies that I watched but didn't like, but only listing to avoid others mentioning them:
1) Heist
2) The Score
3) L.A Takedown
4) The Town
5) Takers
Please, nothing from the 70's or below. More like mid-80's and above. Thanks!
More that I've watched:
1) Armored [hated]
2) The Bank Job [hated]
3) Dog Day Afternoon [ok, but this is a 70's movie so please don't list any from the 70's]
Again, as mentioned before, do not post any movies from 2010, as I've watched them all. And only movies from the 80's up. Thanks!
Public Enemies was more of a bio on JD, and not an actual movie based on robberies. Only about 1% of the movie was acutally robbing places.
And as pointed out above, I hated the bank job, it was cheap, slow, and tried to be comical. I'm looking for more serious films like Inside Man or Heat.

ARMORED WAS ON OF THE WORST MOVIES EVER!( I JUST HAD TO SAY THAT, AND WAS GONNA PUT DOG DAY AFTERNOON).
ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES IS SET IT OFF. WHAT I LIKE MOST IS THAT IT'S AN ALL BLACK FEMALE CAST BUT IT HAS A BELIEVABLE STORY AND THE BANK ROBBERY SCENES WERE GREAT. LIKE YOU BELIEVE THAT WITH THEIR BACKS UP AGAINST THE WALL, ANYONE CAN BE PUSHED TO THE LIMIT. CHANCES ARE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS ONE.

there is The Bank Job with Jason Statham and there is Public Enemies which more of biopic of 1of America's most famous Bank Robber John Dillinger (It Stars Johnny Depp and Christian Bale)
