My friend was suppose to get off the bus in providence r.i at 11:30pm it is now 2:36pm and he still isnt here.. who do i call to find out when the bus will arrive.. its late ... or should i say early in the morning..is there a 1 800 number?

Like the airlines, I have used the Greyhound number. It is a computerized response and is usually inaccurate. And the ticket agents at the counter are not in contact with the bus driver. Greyhound is one of the worst when it comes to customer service.

Did you really mean to say 2:30 PM - if so your friend is really late - like 14 hours late - you should be able to call the Greyhound number listed in the phone book and they can connect you with someone who can tell you why it's late and when to expect it.

Holy cow, YES. I sat in Amarillo Tx. for hours last summer and they gave us no reason for the delay. We finally found out there was no bus and no driver available! Every leg of the trip from McAllan Tx to Colorado was hours late. Expect the unexpected. Every time you change buses...LOOK to see that your luggage is transferred too. They lost mine. Sorry to tell you such horrid things, but before my trip, I did not believe the horror stories. After my trip, I could top every horror story I had heard. For my return trip, I looked on Craigslist and found a ride!
