Why do they assume the person shooting the Marine related buildings is a Marine?
It is more likely someone the Marine Corps rejected who is holding a grudge,everyone has to assume that the crazy guy shooting stuff is a former Marine,which by the way does not exist because once a Marine always a Marine,this is more likely someone who was not accepted into the Marines,because the only branch with stricter enlistment standards than the Marines is the Air Force,this person probably failed the pysch eval and yes contrary to popular belief the Marine does not want crazies,they want people with a good showing in the evals,a person of good strong mental health and fortitude,it takes a secure and stable mind to just make it thru bootcamp.
They should ben looking for rejects instead of instantly assuming it is a Marine,this seems more like vengful targeting of the Marine Corps as a whole,especially the Marine museum,that is one thing a Marine will not tarnish and that is the memory of our fallen and their sacrifice,honor is still a big thing with Marines even in this day and age.

That is so ironic you posted this. My husband was just saying the same thing. He has been in the USMC for nearly 17 years and he literally said it was an “angry MEPS reject.” He doesn’t think it was a Marine; he thinks it was someone who was rejected from the military at one point in time. Guess time will tell who it was if they apprehend the shooter. My husband just wanted me to tell you he agrees with you.

Maybe he is a really good shot, although I don't know how they would determine that if the smallest thing he has hit is a building.
They're just trying to sensationalize the story for better ratings.
We're lucky the media has covered this at all. They are usually crying about little Johnny scraping his knee or some crap about how awful it is to live in America.

The PC machine always declares the perp to be an "angry white male loner". Like the DC sniper, remember? Pundit after pundit after pundit took to the airwaves to declare the angry white male loner was out there killing people. And the Times Square bomber, Bloomberg declared it was someone opposed to ObamaCare, aka the angry white male loner. Whoops. Never get the apologies, though. Big surprise, huh?
