WHY would people make up anthropogenic climate change?

it's easy to understand why certain parties would try to hide something like this...

but why would people lie about it actually happening?

who stands to gain from anthropogenic climate change?

and do they stand to gain more than people who would try to cover up such a thing stand to lose?

Update:

charge more money for what?

i was asking you to be specific

Update 2:

the cost of such things could be brought down by changing the parameters of how the average consumer... consumes. such as limiting overseas goods (specifically foods) shipping in more efficient manners.. etc

but i see your point

Update 3:

@breath tax...

"non-producers (bureaucrats)"

so would underpaid service workers... can you think of an instance where that wouldn't be a good thing?

Government can have more control over the population through fear and limitations.

Corporations can charge more money and make more money

Charge more for what? Everything! Everything requires energy, to transport, make, produce. This energy supposedly causes climate change and unspeakable death and flooding. So as an excuse to "try" and reduce this corporations can charge more money for everything that is made, especially petrol, plane fares, food etc

Yeah it could be, but when's the last time any big CEO or someone at the top of government did something to actually help those of us at the bottom of the food chain? You think the head of Glaxosmithkline cares about you and me? If he did his products which could save lives wouldn't cost more than I make ever day. Absolute power corrupts absolutely my friend, and these people have more power than you can possibly imagine, therefore they are absolutely corrupted and will do anythin to gain more power over us. Climate change is one method, the war on "terror" is another.

As a pretext for restructuring the Global economy and selecting which economies will be net winners and which will be net losers. People throughout the world, some stupid and some very smart all have a socioeconomic viewpoint on what is right or wrong with the world and how it can be made "better".

Scientist get paid one way or another, I guess I never really thought of it like that, right or wrong they're still getting paid. Good point.

Gary F also makes a good point, these scientist don't get out much and probably never concidered that someone else was doing the same research. They just publish there findings the world outside there research doesn't even exist.

Easy, the people with the most to gain are the ones that want a one World Government and to force everyone to toe their line. I mean, when the climate scientists scream that no one is taking notice when according to the Mechanical Engineering magazine, 16 GW of 27.5 GW of new energy production in Europe was from solar and wind power with coal making up a measly 2.4 GW of new capacity. That brings Europe to getting 20% of their energy from renewables.

I mean the whole World is doing something about climate change. It is just not happening as fast as the climate scientists want it to happen. I mean, they complain about deforestation when even Brazil has taken steps to protect the Amazon. I could go on, but the AGW crowd doesn't care about what we are doing, they only care about forcing us to take action even quicker no matter the consequences.

Just listen to the even if global warming is not true, it can't hurt to decarbonize our economy arguments.

For the same reason that they pretend that there really is a national debt and that taxes actually go towards services. For the same reason that non existent terrorists are in the news and the pretence that you are free, when in reality you are in fact a slave who cannot see his prison bars through brainwashing.

One World Government , Bank and currency Maurice Strong wants this .

Browner wants to control house thermostats.

The Chicago Climate exchange, Goldman Saks , GE would make billions passing carbon

    credits.

The UN will be involved .

No, the question is: Why would thousands of climate scientists working independently at every major research facility in the world reach the same conclusion that anthropogenic inputs were responsible for the modern rise in global temperature if it were not true?

The answer is: They would not.

To exert control, to promote their political agenda.

Fearful people are easier to manipulate.

it's as big as daylight how the regulation of carbon emissions touches every conceivable aspect of your life adding restrictions and taxes and fees

it's simply a revenue stream for the non-producers, i.e. bureaucrats

no man will pay for his mistakes but every man will pay to exist

can you tell me an activity which will NOT be affected??

EDIT: Not nearly all service workers are 'underpaid'. In fact, a large chunk of the so-called 'Haves' are made up of OVERPAID cushy gov't (non-producing) employees while only capitalism gets labeled greedy.

The priority of the green leadership is not the environment. They want your time. And, they're getting it.
