Christians of all denominations: What are your views on this scripture?

This scripture reveals a lot.

First, because Satan is literally removed from heaven, it identifies Satan as a real person (not simply the personification of evil as some propose).

Second, it identifies Satan as the one who controlled the serpent who misled Eve.

And third, it also shows that Satan really is the ruler of the world ("misleading the entire inhabited earth") as the following scriptures also support:

"Satan, the god of this evil world." (2 Cor. 4:4) NLT

"The whole world is under the control of the evil one." (1 John 5:19) NIV

What's really funny is that people know this and they don't think it applies to them. They think just because they go to church that they are safe and forget to see if what they believe is what God approves or is it something Satan has sanctioned.

Revelation talks of an empire of false religion, Satan uses religion to mislead the inhabited earth, lets just take one holiday that Christians celebrate that displeases God, it's a Satanist celebration and is the next most “holy” days on the Satanists’ calendar are Walpurgis Night and Halloween. Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines the former as “the eve of May Day on which witches are held to ride to an appointed rendezvous.” Halloween: Though celebrated as a Christian holiday, Halloween finds its origins in pre-Christian festivals that propagate false ideas about life after death. Interestingly, we read: “After the Reformation, Protestants rejected this feast along with other important ones such as Christmas and Easter. Nevertheless, Halloween folk customs of pagan origin flourished.”—Encyclopædia Britannica (1959), Volume 11, page 107.All Saints’ Day: “There is little doubt that the Christian church sought to eliminate or supplant the Druid festival of the dead by introducing the alternative observance of All Saints’ day on Nov. 1. This feast was established to honour all saints, known or unknown, but it failed to displace the pagan celebration of Samhain.”—Encyclopædia Britannica (1959), Volume 11, page 107.

This is just one of the ways that Satan is misleading the inhabited earth and those that celebrate this night of the dead think that they are doing nothing wrong, they are gravely mistaken for God hates such demonic practices.

Everyone should examine their beliefs to make sure there is "no" paganism in it, they would be surprised to find that their so called christian holidays are full of paganism. Satan is deceiving and misleading billions and they are falling into his snares without even knowing it for they do it for fun.

Satan and 1/3 the angels were thrown out of Heaven and ended up on Earth. Satan knows he has a short period of time to get as many people as he can to turn their backs on Jehovah God. And he knows what he's doing.

That means they (the wicked ones) are living among us and continued to "mislead" us (humans) into believing "ghost" is actually dead soul and have us also believed that we have life after death before the resurrection takes place. We are having spiritual warfare with these wicked ones day and night. The only way we can win is by diligently seeking God's Word, the Bible, so we don't fall into their traps and sin against Jehovah God.

Jesus said in John 8:32: "YOU will know the truth, and the truth will set YOU free.” The truth will set us free from what? It sets us free the wicked schemes of the bad angels that are living among us like in Rev 12:9 brought out.

The dragon is Satan, who at the time of Jesus' birth was working through the pagan Roman Empire. Satan influenced Herod, a ruler under Rome, to try to murder baby Jesus by killing all the infants

Satan is so cunning that he was able to deceive one-third of the angels of heaven into following him in his rebellion against God. Now called "devils" and "demons," these fallen angels carry out Satan's plans. In our story of Absalom, we notice that he likewise did very little of his own dirty work. Absalom ordered his servants to execute his wishes.

they are real Christians - do exactly a splash study on adoption of paganism into mainstream Christianity then evaluate to the Witness teachings - in case you have an open coronary heart / innovations you will see for your self.. additionally i do no longer understand why maximum of people think of that witnesses don't think in Christ - i've got been analyzing / attending conferences because of the fact the commencing up of this year and lots of their appreciation is of Jesus' ransom sacrifice to pay the wages for the sins of all mankind (that's the fundemental coaching of christianity - no rely if "christians" know this is yet another rely!!) additionally they stick to Christs COMMANDMENT to evangelise the reliable information of the dominion to the finished inhabited earth (what share "christians" a. carry forth, b.understand what the reliable information is OR c. what the dominion is? - even theory they pray for it to return contained in the lord's prayer) in basic terms some issues to think of roughly...

Like Fireball said, it happened. It is a fact, and a warning to Christians that Satan is active on earth.

Not a Christian but I believe that's the only reference in the bible to the "serpent" (Genesis) being the devil.

If you want to take it out of context, its my recollection that Satan and his fellow dissident angels rebelled against God. There was a war in heaven. Michael and the other angels fought them.

Something I have to question since angels aren't supposed to have souls or free will.

But nonetheless, they were cast down to earth. Which to me means nothing.

If he was created by God, along with his angels, and they were cast down; it seems clear to me that they still serve God's will.

Which plays into my theory that God lords over both good and evil. But we, having intellect, are capable of great good or great evil and everything in between.

The rest speaks of a pregnant woman, whom Satan tries to kill, and when she gives birth; he seeks to destroy her offspring.

It shows us that God does not rule the world right now, but Satan does. And as Satan's end comes closer, the world is going to get allot worse. He is very angry knowing his days are short.
