Why does my monitor flicker?
Whenever I play Diablo II,my monitor flickers and the more stuff there is on the screen, the faster it flickers. It doesn't just happen with Diablo II by the way,it happens with any other game. When I browse the internet though,it doesn't happen.
How do I fix this?

It sounds like the video graphics card is not fast enough to write the data - that would mean you need a faster video card with more memory on it. ( as well the memory on your motherboard RAM could be upgraded to help, and the CPU replaced with a faster one ) Another possible problem could be the Frequency that you are using to display the data - yo can just RIGHT CLICK any blank spot on your monitor, and choose PROPERTIES, SETTINGS, ADVANCED, and look at the SIZE of the pixels chosen, and under TAB for MONITOR, see the various possible FREQUENCIES - try a slower frequency, a faster frequency, and try different Screen Resolutions to see if you can find a setting that is more stable under heavy gaming load. Typically if you LOWER the Colour Quality, the video card does less work, and will work faster, and if you LOWER the Screen Resolution, the video card can work faster, and if you change the frequency, you may find a setting that the monitor and card work more efficiently together, at... Sometimes, you may get a surprise that the card and monitor were "optimized" at the factory for a HIGHER setting than what you are using, and they work better when doing MORE work !
