The Comedian: "Watchmen". That's the real joke.

Nite Owl II: Look, Rorschach and I have made real headway on the gang problem by working together.

Ozymandias: We can do so much more. We can save this world. [the Comedian scoffs. Ozymandias looks at him pointedly.] With the right leadership.

The Comedian: Then that'd be you, right, Ozzy? I mean, I know you're the smartest man on the planet.

Ozymandias: It doesn't take a genius to see the world has problems.

The Comedian: Yeah, but it takes a room full of morons to think they're small enough for you to handle. You know, mankind's been trying to kill each other off since the beginning of time; now, we finally have the power to finish the job. Ain't nothing gonna matter once those nukes start flying; we'll all be dust. [sets light to a display of the United States.] And Ozymandias here will be the smartest man on the cinder.

    Source(s): Watchmen.

"i've got considered issues you human beings does no longer believe. attack ships on hearth off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter on the hours of darkness close to the Tannhauser gate. All those moments would be misplaced in time... like tears in rain... Time to die." Roy Batty, Blade Runner

There was a movie called Mars Attacks and it was hilarious. There were so many stars in it like Jack Nicholson, Michael J. Fox, Sarah Jessica Parker, Glenn Close, Pierce Brosnan, Anette Bening, Danny Devito, and so many others. Many of them were killed off by the Martians. These Martians first landed, walked out of their space craft and said, "We come in peace" and then they'd blow everyone away. They kept doing this throughout the movie. At the end of the movie the only thing that killed the Martians off was the song "Indian Love call". It disintegrated them.

Speaking of Jack Nicholson the movie The Witches of Eastwick was where he said, "Come to daddy."

From the film `The Day They Gave Babies away'.

At the beginning of the film when the couple met in the Scottish highlands, the woman asked the man if he was `Roaming in the gloaming' ?

It cracks me up to think some people actually think a Scot would use this term.

It changes with time, but my current favorite is, "I have to return some video tapes."

From the movie, "American Psycho." (It's not funny out of context.)

One of the funniest movies depicting the shallowness 1980s and also making it the best breeding ground for an emotionally detached serial killer.

And it's not an obvious "comedy."

If you don't get that it's a spoof, then it comes across as a bed murder movie. This is one time that the special features on a DVD add a lot to the movie.

Sid James as Johnny Finger (The Rumpo Kid) in `Carry On Cowboy`. Sitting around the campfire with Chief Big Heap (Charles Hawtrey) was offered a puff on a peace pipe and said, "No thanks. Once talked peace with the Sioux but you can't trust them. One moment it was peace on, the next peace off."
