Why do athiests say it's always wrong to ensIave chiIdren of foreigners?
"However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way."
Leviticus 25:44-46
obviously it's not always wrong to ensIave chiIdren of foreigners.

I'm not an atheist, but I'm not a Christian either. There ARE other religions, you know.
Slavery is wrong, no matter where they're from, and if the Bible really and truly says that, then I'm glad I'm not a Christian... (I'll look it up before assuming it does though, I make educated opinions).
Atheists, and just about everyone else in the world, say it's wrong to enslave foreign children because it is. Everyone is born human and equal. Their race doesn't make them any less than you.

Come on man, even the most hard core fundies ignore leviticus, except the one about homosexuality of course. The idea is that Jesus freed us from the old laws and now we live in grace.
Thinking Christians follow Jesus, not Moses, not Paul, Jesus. And if you get a red letter bible and read just the actual words of Jesus you probably won't find it disagreeable. It's all the other jerks that ruined his message.

My great grandfather was a slave. I never met him though, he had passed away some time before I was born. Lots of people in the world back then didn't even have a kopek to their name, so they had to rely on their pahn to provide them shelter and allow them food. They had to even ask permission to go pick mushrooms in the forest that the pahn owned. When the pahn rode by in his carriage, the serfs had to take off their hats and bow toward him in thanks for the provision.
Those were simpler days back then.
I wonder why they hated it so much?

How different are other people's children and why are there the difference? One can see the children but one does not want to love; one cannot see god but one loves god and so what kind of logic is this? Atheists do not hate someone who is invisible.

Well Warrior 4 Christ, I'm pretty sure while Jesus was talking about loving thy neighbor and turning the other cheek he whispered "unless you're enslaving foreigners children!" oh wait they never happened because that wasn't one of his teachings. You should know that "Warrior 4 Christ"

Oh yeah, just because "God" says its ok to enslave people that makes it a good thing? WRONG ANSWER. Its never a good thing to enslave people, how would you feel if you were a slave? And when are you going to wake up and see that God is imaginary?

What are you talking about? I purchase different children from different countries on a daily basis! I especially love European food, I mean, children.

Atheists don't hate God. How can we hate something we don't believe in?
Likewise, if you want to prove something to someone, don't use passages from a book that they don't believe is accurate to begin with.
