Melbourne Cup Race @ 3.00pm - Very unfair for Mums with Children at school!?
The Melbourne cup was run at 3.00pm, the exact time when most Mums are racing around picking up their children from school. I think it should be on at about 2.00pm so Mums can also join in with all of the fun. We like to have a bet too!
I think it should be moved, what do you think?

Im from Melbounrne so we enjoy the public holiday but ur right it is a rush, i know coz i lived in NSW for 10 years. Thats why it is a public holiday and should be all over australia.
It was in the ACT Until the public servants cancelled it ccoz they wanted to get smaashed at work instead of spending time at home.

It doesn't matter much for us in England if you give or take an hour (10 would be OK)
I had to record it as I couldn't be bothered to wake up at 04:00 am!

it is the tv audience that they worry about , it fits in with most countries world wide.
get someone to tape it next time
