Spiritually speaking, If you died (this very moment)?

& found yourself *free* of everything -- still a living entity, but detached from a physical body, free of all physical attachments, free of attachment to any & all human beings & animals & other (possible) entities... and were able to *do* absolutely *anything* (with the single exception of being unable to *harm* any living being) -- what would you *do* with Forever?

So if I don't have a physical body there's no physical pleasure to be had. That rules out an eternity of feasting, sex and getting high. I'm assuming that I can still 'hear' and 'see' things, so I'd probably set about visiting everywhere that my entity was capable of travelling to.

If I could influence things, I'd set about confounding wrongdoers and helping the needy like some ghostly superhero or actual benign god, though that would have to be carefully thought about because of the law of unintended consequences.

Purely contradictory statements can not be answered. Death is opposite to immortality and "die and found free.." (but leaving the body and found free ... is ok).

There is a state that mind can achieve - free from all hormones and nerves and emotions. and senses. It is a state called "Aanand". Beyond good and bad - for explanation-sake.

The feeling of myself is just rotating in the orbit of the soul and the soul remains like the nucleus of the atom. electrons are our emotions that surround the proton. Proton makes the feed back to electrons and keep the balance of the atom. (study the atom structure in physics).

the human body is a close up of the Universe and both are having same contents called "Panch Bhoot" - five matters - sky, air, fire, earth, water (solid, liquid, gas and 2 more).

Human contains physical body, mental person and soul - the belief on the unbelievable. When attaining the clear knowledge only, one can understand the worthlessness of the above question. .

Because then we can find that the earth is a very pretty place of our own creation since long back and we have been responsible for its present state.

I'd create my own universe to explore. I'd be content with creating an entire universe in which to explore and then use my ability to do anything to live a temporary mortal life so that I could forget what I had created and that I created it so I could experience the wonder of the unknown.

In a previous life, I died and had this experience.

To amuse myself for what I thought was an eternity, I scared people in a haunted house. It was great fun, and I would have gotten away for it if it wasn't for that pesky dog, Scooby, and those meddling kids!

  • Forever would not matter anymore because one would not be living in the future or past! This would not even be part of the equation anymore.

My spiritual energy would be all around my children and grandchildren, friends, etc....rooting for their journey to peace. My spirit would fly with the birds and laugh with all the children. My spirit would be waiting on the other side for those who are peeling away their earthly suits and welcome them.

    Peace..

Well for the first few zillions of years I would celebrate my escape from the planet of the apes. Then I suppose the next thing would be to pursue my Spiritual pursuit.

First I would find God and then travel the earth with him ....asking about all the places I always wondered about and wanted to see ......and then we would travel throughout the universe to see all the planets and let him explain his whole plan of life..

I'd start by removing all the asterisks from your question. See, even in death I would be out helping people.
