what are pentatonic the positions?

I see five positions, but which one is 1,2,3,4,5. does it matter? aside from placement on the neck is postition 1 always pos 1 even under different keys. can someone look at my Google doc sheet I created https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AkJ2vA76y...

    Yes. They will always be the same positions in different keys. However the position of the position...maybe i should reword that...the location of the position changes under the diff keys,but the form stays same. In the key of the A minor pentatonic scale, the root (A note) on the sixth string is on the 5th fret and on the 17th fret. In the key of E minor the position form stays same but root note on the sixth string for position 1, is open Low e string or 12th fret or 24th fret for some guitars. The other positions also change along with the 1st position, but stay in the same form.
