Spider bite piercing?
Im looking into getting these done for my 16th birthday, i just have a few questions fisrt.
On a scale of one to ten, how much does it hurt (I have a high pain tolerance, im just wondering)
Whats the healing process? how do you take care of it and how long does it take to heal?
Would it be weird to kiss my bf?
Also, cause i don't know how much i'll like the balls, so could i wear labret jewelery instead?

I've had labret piercings years back, and they didn't hurt me at all when I got them done.
But everybodys' pain tolerance is different, it all happens really quick. And it might feel weird having it in for a few days until you adjust to it.
It can typically take up to 2-3 months to heal.
More likely it'll heal before then, with the proper care.
I was told to simply avoid certain things like spicy foods, smoking, etc. for a certain amount of days when first getting it.
But saline solution can help the piercing heal more quickly.
It's best to start off w/ the size and type they recommend, until your piercing heals enough for you to switch to a preferred jewelry.

The pain isnt to bad, Feels like alot of pressure then when it goes through feels like you bit your lip pretty hard. Def hurts but nothing big.
Takes a few weeks to heal, unfortunately the process is a bit of a pain in the **** as it is considered both an oral piercing and a face piecing. You will have to clean it about 2 to 3 times a day which doesnt take long but you will also have to keep your mouth very clean. I recommend no dairy for the first few days and while its healing keep a diluted mouth wash with you. About 3 parts water 1 part mouth wash to swish after eating.
While it is healing kissing and all is not recommended as it is an open wound, once it has healed it makes kissing interesting, my girl has hers done and i think its cool,
You will be bale to change jewelry once it has healed but should leave the inital jewelery in for the first few weeks, hope this helps

I have low pain tolerance and my lip didn't hurt all that bad.
Clean it several times a day with soap and water, or salt water. It will fully heal around 3-6 months. Everyone is different.
I wouldn't kiss anyone until it's healed...or at the very least not sore anymore.
Whatever the piercer gives you to wear is what you need to wear until it's fully healed. Don't EVER, EVER take the jewelry out while it's healing. You can risk it closing up or getting infected.
Your piercer will go over all of this when you get it done.

id's say it's about a 5. and it will take about 8 months, or longer, to heal. A lip piercing will never really heal to the point where it won't close up without jewelery in it. And what do you mean you won't like the balls? and of course you can wear jewelery like that in it. As far as kissing, it's no different, but for the first week or two you won't want to kiss because your lip will be too sore.

1) 5 pain scale
2) make sure you clean it 2-3 times a day with a sea salt soak
3)id wait a week or two to kiss him after getting a new piercing, its not that much different.
