    No.

First W's party isn't back. The president and senate are still Democrat.

More important a) there will be stalemate in govm't for next 2 years, b) the Republicans/Tea Partiers "solutions" would make things worse not better (they caused the problems in the first place), c) nothing is going to happen to address the serious problems with the system (unlimited political funding, old boys network, corporate influence on politicians, porkbarreling through earmarks, arcane and problematic 'rules' in Congress, etc) , d) the problems in the US are not amenable to short term solutions, and certainly not through the simplistic solutions offered by the Republicans or Tea Party (and the Democrats aren't much better).

Absolutely not, it is impossible to correct anything overnight. It isn't possible to fix a broken relationship overnight, never mind an entire country with multiple influences on it's current state that extend far beyond just which party is in power

But it ISN'T back, is it? The President is still a Democrat. It just means that nothing will get done at all for the next 2 years.

Quite the opposite. The GOP is going to do everything in its power to make America's problems worse, because they know Obama will get the blame.

If O couldn't do it overnight by being the Messiah, I doubt mere mortals in the R party can either.

Problems don't get solved with Republicans. They prefer to wait and see if the problems solve themselves

I was just wondering the exact same thing, yes.

And here is my impression of the Reichtwingers for the past two years:

"EVERYTHING SUCKS! WHY ARE THERE NO JOBS! WHY IS MY MILK SOURED? LIFE IS HORRIBLE! THE COMMUNISTS ARE SLEEPING IN BED WITH ME AND THE SOCIALISTS HAVE TAKEN OVER THE GARAGE! OH DEAR GOD ALMIGHTY HELP HELP HELP! WHERE ARE THE JOBS? WHY DOES OBAMA WANT TO BEAT MY CHILDREN? I HEARD SATAN WAS LIVING ON THE LAWN OF THE WHITE HOUSE! HELP US DEAR JESUS!!"

    Ok, now it's our turn.
