i have to press/form hamburger patties on the griddle?

but i want to make sure they're perfectly flat every time, so a regular press or Weight won't do. they turn out uneven and i need consistency.

i worked for ruby tuesday in the past and the one we used was made out of metal maybe stainless steel. and it had four feet that let you slam it on the chunk of burger and it would be the same thickness throughout every time. can someone lead me in right direction in finding this.

Note: i don't need a "patty press" to preform my burgers before a bbq. i need to form them as i cook on the flat top

You need to look for one that says it has a 'floating hinge'. What that means is that when you put the top plate of the griddle down it moves on the hinge so that you get an equal distance between the top and the bottom of the griddle, unlike ones without a floating hinge where the top and bottom plates are closer together at the back and further apart at the front. I have a Cuisinart one that cost about £100 that I bought a few years ago and everything comes out flat and evenly cooked.

I used as much as now Hamburger Patty. She become a splash beefy yet I enjoyed her enormous delicate buns. Lettuce wish that we are going to all have of project to fulfill a stunning tomato like her. She become cheesy yet she become grate. I in simple terms melted on the belief-approximately her. I relished a ineffective ringer for my enormous pickle interior her loving buns.

I once saw Rachael Ray make the burger skinnier in the middle and more plump on the edges, that way, when it cooks instead of it all getting really fat, it flattens it out easily. Also, when you press the burgers when you cook them, it pushes all of the juices out of it and makes it have less flavor. Good luck.

Try a restaurant supply store or an on-line store.

    Good Luck
