Unfortunately in a lot of foods there are a lot of hidden calories. You may be eating healthy foods, but you may be eating an excess of them. e.g: granola contains a lot of healthy fibre but it is VERY high in calorie. You must also watch out for fruit juice which contains fructose (which is almost identical to the sugar you put in coffee) and also dried fruit; dried fruit is just fruit without the water in it. So you still get the sucrose, but even more of it because the water doesn't fill you up.

Have you considered seeing your doctor? You may have hypothyroidism. The thyroid gland controls metabolic rate through the excretion of hormones, and from what you are saying, you should have seen changes in 6 months.

Hypothyroidism can be diagnosed with a very quick, simple blood test from your doctor; I reckon you should go visit him/her.

    Good luck!
