Do tongue piercings hurt ?
Okay, I'm only 14. AND I LOVE PIERCINGS. Don't judge . I have actually quite a lot of piercings. My dad is a tattoo artist so he kinda got me into this stuff. (No I don't have a tattoo I'm going to wait until im 18.)
So I have 7 on my ear lobe and 1 cartilage, a nose piercing, and navel.
I was thinking to get a tongue piercing when i'm older. I'm too young to get that because people might think I'm waaaay to young and that I want sex ? No. I'm not into that stuff.
Okay so I'm just really curious, does it hurt? My friends mom has it and she said she loves it !

I am 18 and i have 28 piercings, two in my lip, my eyebrow, my belly button, septum (i keep that one flipped up tho), tongue, 11 on my left ear, and 11 on my fight ear. i did my cartlidge myself when i was 11 and i've had most of my ears, lip, and eyebrow since i was around 14 granted i did the majority of them myself, i did however get my tongue done pro and i found it did not hurt, the most you feel is the pressure of the clamps, you barely feel the neddle going through, however afterwards it does hurt to eat and i have a very high tolerance for pain, it all depends how the person takes pain

I got mine done a year and a half ago and I absolutely love it. It hurt pretty bad for the first 3 days because it gets super swollen right after it is pierced. You're pierced with a longer bar than you normally wear to accommodate the swelling. Eating, drinking & talking were all very awkward for about the first week with just getting used to it (just imagine your tongue being twice the size it is now...) After that first week you can go and get the bar changed to a smaller one. After that really it only took about two weeks for me to not even notice it anymore.

All piercings hurt a little. I imagine the tongue would hurt, but it really depends on your pain tolerance. I got my navel pierced, and I blew it way out of proportion pre-piercing. I think you'll be fine, love.

YES! i wouldnt do it! like seriously! i heard that when you have it done, if the piercer makes 1 wrong move they could hit several nerves in the tongue causing instant death! just be safe
Ive also heard of people having a hard time talking after having it done

It is just a sharp tug sensation and then you don't feel it.
