First photo shoot for building my modeling portfolio...?

I'm going for my first photo shoot to build my modeling portfolio. What types of shots should I take, and what outfits should I bring. Also, what colors are best to wear. I have blonde hair, and I normally wear a lot of cute, but dark colored clothing. Thanks for the help =)

    First, try this:

    http://scouting.fordmodels.com/general/

4 photos, not even professional, and it lets you know if a real agency is interested.

Bring the outfits that flatter your face and body the best. Whatever makes you look slimmer when you wear it is a good bet. Whatever colors accent your hair and eyes is the second consideration.

A roommate of mine dyed his hair, and it was a blonde/reddish color. He put on a white T-shirt, and I told him, NO. The white shirt made his hair look way too red/orange. He changed to a dark shirt, and the hair looked good.

You need to stand in front of a well lit mirror, with a friend, and see what colors compliment you best.

You will never make it as a model. Anyone who says otherwise is just trying to get your money or to get into your pants. Go to college and get a real job.
