I would say like most coleslaw. But if you would like to add some color then maybe you can try sting beans! I had I tried it once my husband said it was good. I hate fish so I didn't have any can't tell you if he really like it or was being nice! lol

    Heres the one I tried:

    Ingredients:

    1 lb string beans

    Oil for sautéing

    5 cloves garlic, crushed

    ¼ cup water

    ¼ cup soy sauce

    3-4 tablespoons sugar

    Sesame seeds, roasted

To roast sesame seeds, place them on a foil or in an aluminum pan and put it in the oven for 5 minutes.

    Directions:

    1. In a pan, sauté garlic in olive oil. Add string beans and sauté for 2 minutes on high flame.

    2. Combine soy sauce, water and sugar together and pour it over the string beans and mix

    3. Lower the flame to medium heat and allow the string beans to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally so that all the string beans get cooked.

    4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Note: You can vary the cooking time, depending on how crisp you want the string beans to be.

Good Luck let me know if it's really good together!

Obvious choice would be coleslaw like others have recommended but I also love a sweet cold macaroni salad or sweet tangy potato salad.
