Can a computer repair man fix a broken xbox 360's dvd drive?
I broke mine, its from the new slim, and nobody around here works on xbox's so i was wondering if a computer repairman could fix the dvd drive? its stuck, doesnt look broken.
im just going to take the drive, not the whole xbox, i already took the xbox apart and took put the dvd drive. What im sayin is, shouldnt an xbox drive be the same as a computer drive? Well the way it gets stuck and all?

You should be able to fix it yourself at no cost. A disk probably has dislodged out of position. Take a small paper clip and straighten it out. On the DVD drive, often on the lower right, you should see a tiny hole. Stick the paper clip end in there and gently push it in. That should push the drawer out a bit. Pull it out carefully by hand taking care that you don't damage the disk. If that doesn't work, often a computer repairman or a computer store can repair it. z

You should just take it to a console repair man I would not trust a computer guy. Or if your xbox is insured replace it with a new one.
