Is Mike Ford for real?

This week the English coach was quoted as saying

"I think there were three games in the Tri-Nations that produced an average of 77 points. That for me is not Test rugby."

Does he think that by scoring less points, England is a better side?

Has anyone explained to him the objective of the game is to score more than the opposition.

It won't be pretty this weekend at Twickenham, the All Blacks will make these guys look very, very ordinary.

Don't forget Andrew, the side he coaches went through, I think it was, three 5 Nations in the 90s without scoring a try so its not something they are used to. here's hoping the ABs can put on 50 points and show them what test rugby is about.

I guess some coaches focus more on defense and shutting the opponent down instead of just trying to put more points on the board. I know I definitely prefer a little more scoring than just penalty kicks all game.

As much as id like to see 50 up i dont think that will happen. But i do hope the All Black pack muscles up and destroys England at thier own game.
