We MIGHT be able to help here.

List the problems, and post another question.

Any new technology is frustrating, especially if you're thoroughly used to the old one. Here are a few tips that might help:

Most of what used to be under Tools->Options is now accessible this way:

    1. Click the round Office button in the upper-left corner of the window.

    2. Click the Word Options button.

The ALT key, if pressed by itself, will bring up flags for some of the old ALT keystrokes that may help.

Similarly, ALT/F goes to the Office button’s file menu. At least some of the secondary keystrokes (ALT/F A for File->Save As, for instance), seem to still be there.

Many of the old keyboard shortcuts (CTRL/A, CTRL/S, CTRL/O, for instance) still work.

Most of the old dialog boxes are still there, often one level under the Ribbon's interface. In particular, any group on a Ribbon tab that has a little arrow in the lower right corner leads to that old familiar dialog box when you click the arrow.

Remember the right-click and use it. It’s still the fastest way to Font and Paragraph.

    Sincerely hope that helps.
